Pure Arctic Madness joining EMCup 2016

The goal of the EMCup is to create and build long-lasting relationships, provide hands on experience, open up the horizon for education, build a bridge between schools and companies and connect young professionals to the industry.

The EMCup is the competition amongst the best European Hotel Management Schools. The EMCup is aimed at ‘I-do-dare students’, those who stand out from the crowd and show courage and entrepreneurship with a great level of commitment. This annual competition offers students the chance to make a difference with their vision and ideas.

The goal of the EMCup is to create and build long-lasting relationships, provide hands on experience, open up the horizon for education, build a bridge between schools and companies and connect young professionals to the industry. The 8th edition of the EMCup, will take place on Sunday the 14th and Monday the 15th of February, 2016 in Maastricht. First time also a “Dream team” from Lapland UAS will take part in the competition. We are the team Pure Arctic Madness competing for EMCup2016, competition for the best European Hotel Management school. The theme for this year is ”Surfing the Silver Wave”. The population is aging and tourism industry needs to respond to the needs of the new customer segmentation.

We have four team members: Lauri Laikko, Anna Pälä, Anni Honkanen and Linh to. We are all studying in Multidimensional Tourism Institute in Rovaniemi. We are all excited to be a part of this kind of competition.
