Nordplus funding for a VR game and pedagogy project
Lapland UAS, Uppsala University, and Stockholm University have been awarded funding by Nordplus for a joint project to take place between 1.9.2023 - 31.8.2024.
The project will develop a VR language learning game and conduct
research into the use of VR pedagogy in a higher education context to
support Nordic minority language tuition (Swedish in Finland, Finnish
in Sweden).
The project builds on Lapland UAS’ and their software lab FrostBit's
previous experience developing a VR speech simulation game for the Culture Expert project with the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
