The Barents Reunion

First of all, we, InnoBarentsLab, would like to thank Lapland University of Applied Sciences for creating such chances for us to participate in this annual convention. It is a convention hosted each year by Barents Reunion.
The name of the convention this year was “Barents youth and young entrepreneurship” and it was on June 03-04. It took place in Haparanda, Tornio, where situated near the border between Finland and Sweden and thus, this city is a nice mixture of 2 cultures: Swedish and Finnish.
The convention itself was a great opportunity to acquire knowledge from the inspiring speakers as well as enthusiastic participants. The main lesson we can learned for whole this convention is that never give up your hope, keep moving forward, chase your dream and you will success. We had great moments from the networking and activities held.
Moreover, we had a stand in the workshop tent, where we showed the previous seminars and conventions which IBL has taken a part like, Northern stars seminar, our trip to Murmansk, our trip to Hammerfest. We created a “photo book” of the trips and events that IBL had taken part in. That “photo book” and some craft works from Annika were set it up in your stand. Last of all, it was also a great chance to promote our Lapland University of Applied Sciences and InnoBarentsLab to other students, entrepreneurs as well as organizations. It was a precious trip for us to gain many lessons and experiences from other young creative entrepreneurs.
