Sudden medical attack, stroke or accident

The purpose of emergency care is to ensure an open airway for the patient and to maintain breathing and blood circulation.

Evaluate the situation, ensure your own safety and call 112.
Open the patient's airway by lifting the patient's chin and turning the forehead backwards.
Check if the patient is breathing. An unconscious and unresponsive patient is not breathing if you cannot feel airflow with your hand, ear or cheek.
Start compressions and ventilations.

There are cardiac shock machines, or defibrillators, in our higher education facilities. As a rule, they are located in the lobbies or corridors.
