Lapland University of Applied Sciences is the sum of its precious parts plus the added value of doing things together with a multidisciplinary approach.

We do not care about walls and cannot be drawn in a box, since we live as one with our operating environment, defying distances and never minding remoteness.

Instead of traditional faculties, we work in multidisciplinary competence groups that also function as innovation platforms.

The competence required by livelihoods, work and professions is changing, and our response is new, future-oriented competence.
