Your studies start with an orientation course: “Start your UAS Studies.”

The course lasts the whole autumn semester. Part of it is hold on campus with your own educational fields’ teacher. During lectures you’ll have a possibility to get to know your classmates, get familiar of your own study field and start to plan your studies. Your teacher will give you instructions for the campus part when you start your studies.

The other part is done independently. The themes of the study materials are: studying in Finland and at Lapland UAS, tips for studying, learning, and taking care of yourself and Finnish working life, looking for a job and tips for learning Finnish language. Information for the independent part will be shared during orientation day.
