FIRST STUDY EXCHANGE

FIRST is exchange program for Finnish and Russian universities, and it is funded by CIMO.

FIRST Study Exchange is in Lapland UAS' partner universities in Russia, The Barents Region. Application period for autumn semester is 15.02 - 1.4 and for spring semester before 15.10. Participating student for FIRST -exchange has to be at least second year undergraduate student. Minimum length of exchange is 3 months. Possibility of applying FIRST -grant and Lapland UAS travel grant. Grants are awarded to one student per year. Grants are not for students who are going to exchange to their home country.

Lapland UAS is also part of a FIRST network called Network for Social Services and Health Care. Through the network social services and healthcare students are able to apply for one semester study exchange to the partner universities. The network also arranges every spring semester a short intensive course. Both to the study exchange and to the intensive course students can apply a grant from the network,
