Centria University of Applied Sciences offers exchange program in Shanghai, where Lapland UAS' students have a possibility to participate. The program is organized in autumn semester (in the middle of September - in the middle of December) and spring semester (in the beginning of March - in the end of May). Duration of the exchange is 3 months.
Degree in Business Administration students can apply to the program.
Shanghai University offers Chinese studies (language, culture, society, economy).

Students must be prepared to finance themselves their exchange period.
Centria UAS charge 310€ arrangement fee for every exchange. Lapland UAS pays this fee behalf of the students.

Before the exchange
Start planning your exchange well in advance. Familiarize to the exchange destination, study program and costs.
Contact to Internationalisation Services if you need help with the exchange process, forms and time table.
Check the exchange university’s courses with the Study councellor. Write a Learning Agreement (LA). LA will be signed by the Study councellor and the internationalisation services.
Make your SoleMOVE application
Fill the application forms of the exchange university and have all required appendices (for example passport copy, passport photos, motivation letter, CV).
Download the transcript of records in English from Peppi.
Fill the forms electronically, ask the required signatures and deliver the forms and documents to the internationalisation services for review.
Centria UAS will contact you and send you the Letter of Acceptance.
Send copy of Letter of Acceptance to the internationalisation services and apply for the Lapland UAS Grants in SoleGRANT programme.
Familiarize yourself with the Exchange Student’s Check List and the exchange destination and prepare yourself well for the trip!
During Erasmus+ Exchange
Usually students make small changes to their studies. Always discuss with the study councellor about the possible changes to make sure that they are applicable for your studies.
Changing your study plans requires ALWAYS a document Changes to the original learning agreement. For this document remember to have the signatures from the exchange university and scan it to Internationalisation Services (outgoing@lapinamk.fi).
Read your Lapland UAS email! All communication from home university takes place through Lapland UAS’ email!
Contact the Internationalisation Services if you face problematic situations during your exchange.
Exchange must not be discontinued or terminated earlier without discussing the matter with the Internationalisation Services.
After Erasmus+ Exchange
Before leaving ask the host institution for a signed Letter of Confirmation (Recognition Outcomes - The Receiving Institution form page 1) and return it to SoleMOVE immediately after the exchange.
In SoleMOVE fill out the After exchange interleaf and Feedback interleaf.
Host university sends the Transcript of Records to Lapland UAS’ Internationalisation Services. Internationalisation Services informs when you can pick up the transcript of records and start the credit transfer process. If you receive it personally, you must download the Transcript to SoleMOVE.
