Bilateral Study exchange

All Lapland UAS' Degree Programme students have a possibility to apply for a bilateral study exchange. It is important to notice that bilateral agreements are mainly study field specific or some bilateral partner universities offer courses only for a specific study field, thus we can only send there specific study field students.

You can apply for a one semester at a time.The duration of the study period must be at least 2 months and accumulate 5 ECTS / month. However, the length of the exchange is usually the whole semester of the bilateral partner university.

There is a possibility to apply for a Lapland UAS study grant (300€/full study month) and a travel grant (450€/1000€/exchange, depending on the destination).

You should start preparing for the exchange in good time in advance. First check out the possible destinations and then contact to Internationalisation Services. They will help you with the exchange process.
