Losing the right to study because of neglecting to register and reinstatement of the right to study (932/2014, 32 §)
A student who has not registered as attending or non-attending loses his/her right to study. Upon application, the right to study may be reinstated starting from the beginning of the next semester.
The right to study may be reinstated if the student has right to study time remaining. The right to study cannot be reinstated, if the right to study time has ended.
A fee of 50 € is charged for processing the application (A1440/2014 §3). The fee is charged when filling in the form and paid by using the Paytrail payment service.
The decision of reinstatement of the right to study will be made by the main-user of the student register. The decision will be sent to you by email.
