How to make buildings more energy efficient and improve indoor climate and air quality in arctic climate?
Best practices and technical solutions for low energy houses are evaluated and studied in EEBAK –project.
The goal of the project is to compile and disseminate solutions for smaller energy consumption and better indoor climate.
Different technical solutions will be presented and discussed with border municipalities and sector officials in various meetings, workshops and field trips.
Knowledge and experience exchange is documented and analyzed in order to ensure the results are as widely usable as possible.
The results from this project will be reported which are then discussed, presented and disseminated in scientific and semi-scientific publications.
By sharing information the project is able to make sure the new usable technology is also available for the older building stock and so further helps develop energy efficiency in arctic regions.
This project is mainly aimed at northern municipalities in Finland, Sweden and Norway and companies located in them. Project timeframe: 1 Jan 2017–31 Dec 2019
