Health and Wellbeing Development Hub

Simulation learning, and development center Aurora is a modern and interactive RDI and learning environment for practising treatment and service processes or individual treatment situations.

The learning environment comprises 12 different facilities, which can be utilised as independent spaces or combined to model various operating processes and service entities of health care.

The work of social services and health care professionals involves multi-professional cooperation, and one of the key functions of the centre is developing the teamwork skills of organisations and students.

Excellence in Future Healthcare Services

Aurora is a part of Future Healthcare Services which is one of Lapland UAS's eight Excellence Groups.

The facilities were improved in the ENVI 2 project between 1 June 2013 and 31 December 2014
