Bachelor’s degrees

Lapland University of Applied Sciences has 5 international degree programmes leading to a Bachelor’s degree. The language of teaching is English. Studies take 3.5 - 4 years to complete. They consist of basic, professional and elective studies, practical training and a Bachelor’s thesis. For more information about the study structure, see Studies in general.

Lapland University of Applied Sciences degrees focus on Arctic competence. Studying at Lapland UAS is practical and work-oriented. The learning environments offered by Lapland UAS allow the theory to be applied in practice.

Lapland University of Applied Sciences is FINEEC audited and has a valid quality label. The funding of the Lapland UAS is provided by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. The Bachelor’s Programmes will conform to the requirements knowledge, skills and competencies for the level 6 of European Qualification Framework, EQF(6).

Most supportive scholarships

All Finnish institutes of higher education have adopted tuition fees in their English-language education programmes.

The fees will apply to higher education degree students who are not citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland.
