APPEAL PROCEDURE AND INSTRUCTIONS

 

An appeal can be submitted by the subject of the decision or a person whose right, obligation or interest the decision directly impacts (interested party).

 

Content and submission of the appeal

The appeal must contain the object of the appeal and its grounds and must be signed by the appellant.
A person dissatisfied with a decision may submit a written appeal to the Rector of Lapland University of Applied Sciences, Jokiväylä 11 C, FI-96300 Rovaniemi.


Appeal period and its beginning

The appeal must be made within 14 days of the date the decision was served.
The party shall be considered to have been served the decision, unless proven otherwise, within seven (7) days of mailing the letter, on the date indicated by the certificate of service or on a date separately marked on the certificate of service.
The appeal must be submitted to the Rector of Lapland University of Applied Sciences before the end of the appeal period.
