Semesters and Courses for Exchange Students

Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Lapland UAS) offers a wide variety of courses in English because of the degree and specialization programs offered in English. All credit units are according to European Credit Transfer System ECTS.

Exchange students have to choose minimum of 30 credit units for one semester and students coming for placement have to choose (marked to learning agreement) minimum of 10 credit units for placement of two months.

The courselist and detailed course descriptions can be found from
SoleOPS electronic system.

After entering the system, click the button "start search", choose the correct study semester and click the icon "search".  

After this you can see the list of the courses offered. Course descriptions can be found by clicking the icon next to the course title.

Official nominations should be done well before the application deadline.

15 January: Forestry and Rural Industries, Tourism, Nursing, Sports and Leisure, Physiotherapy, Technology 

22 January: International Business

Free pick up service
3 January

In Kemi the pick-up service is arranged upon arrival for Nursing and Social Services practical trainees also later during the spring semester.
