- The separate application period for Lapland UAS Master´s Degree programme is on 13 February - 31 March 2018. Online application closes at 31 March 2018 at 3.00 pm Finnish time (+2 hrs GMT).

Send the required copies
of non-Finnish educational certificates and an upper secondary education certificates completed in Finland before year 1990 by 7 February 2018 at 3.00 pm Finnish time at the latest to the Admission Services of your first option.
Entrance examinations are arranged between 1 April and 2 May 2018
Entrance examination invitations are posted by email from week 12 onwards.
The invitations will include all the details about time, location, and special arrangements. Please note, that some UAS do not arrange examinations anywhere else than in Finland.

Additional application period
A possible additional application period starts at the earliest 2 July 2018
Confirm your study place and send the required copies
by returning the confirmation form by 10 July 2018 at 3.11 pm Finnish time at the latest to the higher education institution you chose as your final study place. If you do not return the form in time, you will lose your study place.
Please send the educational certificates to the Admission Services by 10 July 2018.
Please remember that your admission is conditional until your original relevant certificates are checked. The UAS may withdraw the admission, if the applicant has given false information or has given a falsified document.
Pay the tuition fee
Tuition fees in English-taught degree programmes at Lapland UAS
At Lapland University of Applied Sciences tuition fees will be charged from the non-EU/EEA citizens who accept a study place in an English-taught Bachelor or Master degree programme starting on 1 September 2017 or later.
The fees will not concern:
• citizens of the European Economic Area or equivalent; EU Blue Card holders; persons with a continuous or permanent residence permit or an EU residence permit granted for a third-country national with a long-term resident status, family members of the above mentioned.
• non-EEA citizens, who study in Finnish (the degree programme is taught Finnish)
How Much is the tuition fee?
The tuition fee will be 8000€ per academic year for both Bachelor and Master programmes.
First year students will get a scholarship that covers 80 % of the first year tuition fee (6400 €). The criteria to get this scholarship is that you have to be accepted to study at Lapland UAS.
From second year to fourth year students will get a scholarship of 60 % of the tuition fee (4800 €/year) if they gain a minimum of 55 Credits during the previous academic year. Students who graduate on intended time or in shorter time will receive back their last year tuition fee.
